How to Read the Label...

Always check the front and the back of each product you purchase. The front label will always highlight the type of product it is, think "natural skin care" in the case of ONNE. While the back will be filled with an ingredients list. This is where you need to check for the words 'certified organic' as opposed to 'SLS', 'paraben' and 'perfume'. There are also logos to look out for, each of which also certifies that a product is 'cruelty-free', 'recyclable' or even 'Australian made'. If a product doesn't carry any logos be aware. It could mean the product you're using is doing testing on animals. Please note, ONNE is proudly PETA approved.

What to Read the Label For...

Always scan your products for words that say: chemical free, SLS free, BPA free and paraben free. Another important point when you're reading the label is to note whether ingredients on "all natural" skincare are really derived from nature. The word "natural" isn't regulated yet, while the word "organic" can be applied to a whole product. Moreover, this product only needs to contain 95 percent organic ingredients to be certified. So read the label and don't judge skincare by its silhouette.
